YBLA Impact Report
2023 - Q2
A Message from The Martins
Hello Sponsors, Donors, Grantors, & Funders!
The second quarter of 2023 is a true testament to how a heart of service grows in our leaders through YBLA programs.
Jr. Ambassadors served in Belize, building a computer lab and a home for a single mother of three. Sr. Ambassadors graduated and entered our group of College Ambassadors. This cohort broke our scholarship record, earning over $14M in total!
Black Talent Pipeline Emerging Professionals completed a four-day Business & Leadership Retreat in Charlotte, NC, where they connected with our corporate partners. They went straight into serving in Belize and returned to volunteer with YBLA and other nonprofits.
Last, YBLA Young Professionals (YoPros) attended our first Global Leadership Forum in London, UK, and still found time to serve the local community.
We can't express how proud we are to see Black leaders make an impact around the world, and you, the YBLA family continue to support them along the way.
