Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students who are in a design or art discipline and intend to pursue that discipline as a career. Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors in South Carolina who plan to attend a four-year institution of higher learning in the fall. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to moral leadership.

Must be a graduating African-American female senior

Must have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for each consecutive year of high school
Must demonstrate financial need (please refer to the Federal Government Poverty Guidelines) by completing Section V of the application
Must be prepared to provide verification of your household income by bringing tax documents to the interview, if selected for an interview
Must demonstrate public service above and beyond any high school requirements. One of the required letters of recommendation must be from a verifiable public service organization
Must plan to attend an accredited four-year institution of higher education in the U.S. during the upcoming academic year
Must maintain a 3.0 GPA while in college in order for the scholarship to renew annually
After the initial award disbursement, it is renewable for 3 years
Initial award disbursement will be based on confirmed college enrollment for Fall 2021
Award will be disbursed over four consecutive years at $5,000/year

Award disbursement of $2,500 minimum, based on verified college enrollment for Fall 2021
Must be a graduating African-American senior
Must be a student enrolled in a Mecklenburg County public or private high school
Must have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and have shown significant improvement in your academics over a two-year period (transcript must reflect two years of high school grades)
Must plan to attend a two-year or four-year institution of higher education in the U.S. during the upcoming academic year
Award disbursement will be based on verfied college enrollment for Fall 2021
Daisy Spears Stroud "Academic Achievement" Scholarship (non-renewable, one-year award)
Award disbursement of $2,500 minimum, based on verified college enrollment for Fall 2021
Must be a graduating African-American female senior
Must be a student enrolled in a Mecklenburg County public or private school
Must have a weighted cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Must plan to attend a four-year institution of higher education in the U.S. during the upcoming academic year
In addition to the above, all applicants:
Must submit two letters of recommendation
Must write an essay (300 min. - 500 max. words)
Must scan a certified copy of his/her high school transcript and be prepared to upload the transcript to the scholarship application website. The certified transcript must reflect your cumulative GPA and include your grades from the first semester of your senior year
Pauli Murray Foundation Scholarship Fund Social Justice Scholarship 2021
The Pauli Murray Foundation Scholarship Fund was created to provide career-minded individuals the opportunity to develop professionally, civically and socially. The $500 Social Justice Scholarship is awarded to several students through out the year.
In order to apply for this scholarship, candidate must: 1. Applicant must be a High School Senior. 2. Applicant must be accepted into a College. 3. Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale). 4. Student must research: Who was The Reverend Dr. Pauli Murray and what were her contributions to the social justice movement. 5. Complete an application and include a one-page essay explaining how the Rev. Murray’s life and accomplishments touch you and motivate you towards your goals.
James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund Sponsor: Teamsters Amount: Up to $10,000 over four years Closing Date: March 2, 2020 Description: Scholarship is open to sons, daughters, and financial dependents of Teamster members who are graduating high school seniors.
AGA Women’s Scholarship Sponsor: Alabama Golf Association Amount: $2,500 per semester and will be renewed on a fall and spring basis for eight consecutive semesters. Closing Date: March 2, 2021 Description: Scholarship is open to female graduates of an accredited secondary school who have an interest in the game of golf. Applicant must be in need of financial assistance to pursue an undergraduate education in a college or university in the state of Alabama and applicant must be a resident of Alabama.
Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program Sponsor: Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State Amount: Up to $5,000 Closing Date: March 2, 2021 Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate students in good academic standing who are U.S. citizens. Applicant must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant and applying to or has been accepted into a study abroad program or internship.
Feeding Tomorrow Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships Sponsor: Feeding Tomorrow Amount: Varies Closing Date: March 2, 2021 Description: Scholarships are open to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a variety of disciplines within the science of food.
Gilman-McCain Scholarship Sponsor: Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State Amount: $5,000 Closing Date: March 2, 2021 Description: Scholarship is open to undergraduate child dependents of an active duty service member to study or intern abroad on a credit-bearing program.

Innovation in Education Scholarship Sponsor: LA Tutors Amount: $500 Closing Date: March 2, 2021 Description: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others and submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation.
Think for Yourself Scholarship
Let Grow will award college scholarships to U.S. high school students who exemplify independence of thought in their everyday lives. Students will choose from a series of prompts to describe a life experience or issue that made them think independently. Students will explore themes like taking an unpopular stand, overcoming adversity, or finding common ground with someone you disagree with. This scholarship is available to students pursuing all forms of higher education including trade schools and four-year colleges.

Sweet and Simple Scholarship
If you’re looking for an easy scholarship, keep it simple – sweet and simple! Applicants must be 14 years of age or older and a resident of the United States. To apply, students should submit an online written response (250 words or less) to the following topic: “Not every gift has to be expensive or extravagant. In fact, sometimes it’s the sweet and simple things that make a real difference in our lives. Think back and tell us about something you received as a gift and why it meant so much to you.”
