Leadership in Action Through Service

Every January, YBLA leaders across Charlotte and Atlanta come together to honor

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.s legacy through meaningful service.

From packing meals and supporting school food pantries to assembling teacher appreciation kits and serving unhoused neighbors, Ambassadors step into leadership by addressing real community needs.

In 2026, that impact reached 46,728 people across multiple communities and countries.

More Than a Day of Service

MLK Day of Service is more than volunteering. It is how YBLA leaders learn responsibility, service, and what it means to create impact in their communities.

At YBLA, leadership is not only discussed. It is lived.
